The PANS Expedition is an interactive therapeutic story for child therapists that simplifies explaining Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) and its treatment process to children 5 years and older. When children understand what is happening to them, they are more fully equipped to self-advocate and self-soothe.
Through engaging coloring pages, thoughtful discussion prompts, and an imaginative journey, children explore the three parts of PANS treatment: treating the infection, reducing inflammation, and psychotherapy. They also learn what to expect from therapy plus the three tools that help along the way: Truth, Willingness and Hope.
Turn PANS treatment into a playful adventure with The PANS Expedition! Let’s get started…
